After School Hoops
Meet up at the PLC gym after school on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 3:00-4:30pm, during the school year for a pick-up game with friends. This time is reserved for basketball only.
There are 6 basketball hoops on one full-size court. Games can be split into half-court for multiple games. All games are self-monitored, so good sportsmanship and proper conduct are expected. Advance registration is appreciated.
Fee: Free
Gym Rules
- No food or beverages other than water are allowed in the gym.
- Soft-soled athletic shoes only.
- A parent or caregiver must accompany all minors.
Program follows the Powhatan County Public School year but is only closed on County-observed holidays.
The program will not occur on the following dates:
- 9/21, 9/28
- October 10/12, 10/19
- 11/3, 11/11, 11/25, 11/26, 11/27
- 12/24, 12/25
